Hi David, did you implemented this?
@david Is it possible to add an option to disable the zone information while editing the workout in the mobile view and have the window displayed in full width as in the previous view. It is very inconvenient to edit in a very small box on the left side while wasting so much space on the right side. Or to arrange it one below the other. The zones at the top and the workout matching the graphic at the bottom
Hi, Davide! Tell me please, why when creating a workout, the power scale structure is not filled in?
What do you enter in the Workout Editor?
Adding Ride to the calendar. Adding a step to my Warmup (I use the watt range). Also for the MainSet part and Cooldown. But the watt and time scale does not show the structure.
Try instead of 15:00
15m
And instead of 1:30:00
1h30m
Big Thanks! It worked!
Please tell, how can I output the created workout to my watch and ZWIFT? Only by saving the file? Or is it possible directly through intervals.icu?
You can try this option:
or this one (which will send to TrainingPeaks and then show in Zwift).Has to be done daily if you don’t have a premium TP account:
In addition to @Gerald’s answer, I can add that if you have a Garmin, Coros, Suunto or Wahoo watch, you can also upload the workouts directly there. You must activate the option “Upload planned workouts” in the settings.
Hello guys,
short question about the “ramp” command.
I use a Garmin Edge and a TacX/Garmin Neo trainer.
If I say
ramp 20 min 100-200W
The trainer stays in ERG mode @ 150W
Of course, I have figured that I can split my 20 min ramp in shorter 2 min ascending intervals
Is there a way to make “ramp” works with a Garmin device ? or the shorter intervals in the only way ?
Thanks
the only way unless you use my app (currently just proof of concept) and send it to TP and then to Garmin.
thank you for your answer, seems a bit cumbersome but ok
You can use 10 steps of a 10W increment.
- 2m 100-110W
- 2m 110-120W
- 2m 120-130W
Garmin will average it to 105, 115, 125, etc., but then you would have to compare using this vs using TP.
I don’t know if this is available somewhere but I just couldnt manage to make my sets seen in the activity page. How do I make sure that here I can see my interval and recovery sets easily? Any help appreciated.
This is what I do but it doesn’t seem like it is working. This is different then the picture though.
Warmup
- 20m press lap
Intervals 12x
- 1m intensity=interval
- 1m press lap intensity=recovery
Cooldown
- 16m press lap
You need to specify the pace, heart rate, or power you want to train with (absolute, percentage, or zone).
Try this:
Warmup
-Some text to show 20m Z1 Pace intensity=warmup
Intervals
12x
-1m 100% Pace intensity=interval
-Press lap 1m 70% Pace intensity=recovery
Cooldown
-Press lap 16m Z1 Pace intensity=cooldown
Thanks for the response, but unfortunately, that’s not really working for me and doesn’t work for every situation. For example, when I do hill repeats, I usually do them by RPE or deciding the pace based on the hill. In the beginning I assumed setting intensity would do that. I am curious what does it do to set intensity?
I think it would be really helpful if we could change these settings after the fact, just like you can do in Garmin Connect. I have no idea how hard or possible to these though. I am just giving feedback. Thank for all the efforts!
can i ask a dumb question here - new to invervals.icu - the workout builder is an amazing tool. Is it correct that I can not export a .FIT (or other extension) workout from intervals.icu and import into TrainingPeaks? (I get a “no workouts found” ). NBD if that is the case, i just wanted to confirm before i start switching things over to intervals.icu.
Correct.
You can use this option to import workouts from Intervals to TP:
