Wahoo support implemented

The Sunday rides generally have been outdoor. I have bad phone reception at home so sometimes when I check my phone I can see that it hasn’t uploaded to the Wahoo cloud and remedy accordingly once the phone is connected to wifi. This can happen equally with weekday or weekend rides.
I have a long weekend coming up with a few long rides planned so I can see whether it is long rides in general or Sunday rides in particular.
Also, I just installed the Wahoo Systm app so I should be able to verify that the ride has uploaded to Wahoo. I assume that intervals.icu will pull the data from the same place that Systm would.

Intervals.icu receives webhooks from Wahoo for new activities. So they should show up as soon as your device has uploaded them. Webhooks can get lost but that should be very rare. Intervals.icu also does a poll for activities when you first visit the calendar page.

Thanks David, I found that it was the Elemnt app. Although it often tells me that a ride has not uploaded to the Wahoo cloud, I also found that sometimes it did not.

The same wahoo account can synchronize the training plan with Android phone, but it can’t synchronize the training plan with iPhone. Can you help me see what the problem may be?

If it’s the same account, then it’s probably on Wahoo’s side. If you see it on Android, then the plan is in wahoo cloud, so intervals → wahoo is working.
Double check the account on iOS, maybe try log off and login again.

@filippo

Maybe this video can help. Go to 8:00 to see how to use cadence as a secondary target in Intervals.icu. Works well in the Wahoo Bolt 2 so I guess it should work on the ACE as well.

Not only did I log out and log in again, but even I reinstalled the higher version of elemnt, but I still couldn’t synchronize my training plan.

Any kinda of pescpetive for when wahoo wellness data will be supported? or any alternative method

i tried sync Wahoo with Apple Heath and Apple with the Google Fit but it dont work at all

What do you mean it doesn’t work?

I have My Garmi sync to Apple Health then you need a 3rd party app to do the final push to intervals.icu

Is there currently some sort of general issue with Wahoo?
My indoor ride yesterday as well as the one today don’t upload to Intervals. I have already re-authorized Wahoo, filter for all types of rides is set. When I go to upload old data and select yesterday until today, it shows correctly 2 activities being uploaded from Wahoo, but the nothing appears in my activities.

There are some issues for zwift rides and wahoo, yes.

Thanks, didn’t see that.

what app you recomend for that final push? the Apple health just not send sleep or HR data well enough for google.

I have to say. I’m confused.
Apple Health and Google?
Do you send Apple Health data to Google?

Bad news:

I really don’t get it why they keep introducing such strange API restrictions from time to time…
What exactly do they hope to achieve with this?!?

I’m presuming that if you have upwards of million of users, sending out these workout FIT files might take a significant chunk of bandwidth.

Secondly, I don’t think they want to be like the proverbial gas station where the restrooms are/can be used by everyone.

I send the data rn now in that way

Wahoo → Apple Health → Google Fit → Interval.icu

Wahoo online have integrations with Apple health
with google u can acess apple data

I see… that’s not the usual path that I’ve seen.
Most users I’ve seen are using HealthFit / RunGap / BreakAway for Apple Health data.

If you’re looking for a zero cost version, take a look at Apple Health Shortcuts. (Someone made a thread on this)
