about dark mode, i use it all over the place for years now and the only thing that seems out of place to me, generally, is the directly translation of color hues and brightness. all on white, the colors feels in balance, mostly because nothing will shine brighter than white.
on black/dark, use the same (mostly the same) makes everything louder, attention breaking, which changes completely the focus on what’s supposed to… and the dark mode is supposed to mean the opposite.
here, it happens strongly, even changing what they are supposed to represent. on white, brighter colors, lighter, for lower zones. darker, stronger, mean harder work, intensity… on dark they are working in opposition. doesn’t feel like it’s just fine-tuning the hues (that could help), but more a matter of saturation, brightness, opacity.
and for some reason intervals’ dark mode is even more coloful. instead of shades of light/dark gray, it has shades of purple and blue tones, adding even more visual information with what’s already colored.
but overall a great progress… it’s quite a work. but i must say, for now, i’d sticky with the lighter.
Many people have reported that their settings aren’t saved after installing ExtraSensor. This is a known Garmin bug. You’ll need to uninstall and install the app again. This is mentioned in the documentation:
