Zwift sync party? Not on our guest list. FTP chaos incoming.
Wahou ! it’s marvelous : it’s Christmas before the time! Thanks
Well done! I am using Garmin and Zwift for recording my rides. But would like to keep the master/consolidated record of all rides on Strava. With this integration can I still use Strava as master and only import todays workouts to Zwift?
Suggest you ditch Strava in favor of Garmin or even Zwift. You can have your rides still sync to Strava but have records uploaded to Intervals via Garmin or Zwift.
why you think so? advantages?
So many if you search the forums
Eg
An entire thread here.
And Strava strips out a quite a bit of data (before they send it out) which you may/may not care about. So it’s actually not the original file.
Ultimately it’s your decision but Intervals.icu users are encouraged to use other services to feed data into here besides Strava if it’s possible (some devices don’t support direct integration w intervals like Bryton so that’s a bummer)
Hi,
big thanks for all the good work!
Just to avoid data loss and be very precise.
When I first connect to Zwift and then remove the link to strava, no past activities will be lost?
You should leave Strava connected. The Zwift activities will replace the Strava ones. If you disconnect from Strava (“Disconnect” button) Intervals.icu is required to delete all of your Strava stuff. You can use the import all Strava data button to pull in your Strava history free of API restrictions.
Aww, dang. Was going to be my question. Was SO excited to think Intervals might bridge my TR workouts into Zwift. Any chance or plan to integrate TR into Intervals?
Assuming if I manually built a TR workout into Intervals, THEN it would transfer over to Zwift? But then it’d just be a question of which is more difficult: building in Intervals, or creating a custom workout in Zwift…
I use a Chrome browser extension (Zwift ZWO Download for TrainerRoad) to download TrainerRoad workouts in ZWO format which can be imported into intervals.icu and Zwift.
will give that a look, thanks!
I was wondering why I couldn’t see my entire library but it seems like this only pulls for the upcoming 7 days scheduled. Is it possible, and if so are there plans to incorporate something that will allow the entire library from .icu to show up in that folder on Zwift?
This is awesome news!!
This is amazing! The Intervals.icu workout creator is by far the fastest to use. For this integration I am willing to pay for!
Not sure if mentioned elsewhere, but just tried to write in my strava description how intervals and zwift were integrated and seems strava has censored ‘intervals.icu’ from descriptions!
Strava actually wipes anything that looks like a URL with quite a brute force regex, not just Intervals.icu.
Ahh my bad, I thought that was rather petty
yeah I had endura.fit in my strava username and that’s been wiped out!!
Unfortunately I now have double workouts, one from the Zwift API, the other from Strava. There is no cleanup function to delete or ignore the other. Two questions: what can I do to solve this? And are counting two workouts against my fitness and fatigue numbers?
By the way: Excellent work! That was the key moment I became a paying member!
You actually have one from Zwift and one from Wahoo. You need to delete one of those and decide where you want to get Zwift rides from in future. Maybe configure Wahoo in /settings to not download “Virtual Ride”.
