Garmin connect widget

Had to reinstall it a couple of times, because I also had the wrong values issue (FIT 64, etc…) and no authentification prompt.

But now everything works great.
As I said it before, a great upgrade for your Garmin, when you are using ICU way more than Garmin’s Load numbers.

The style of the widget is also so clean and informative as I love it to be.

Further feedback:
Only thing I noticed, apparently you used a Sunday start week, and I use a Monday start week on ICU and my life.
So weekly load and ramp rate is off today (Sunday) as the widget already started a new week and I’m in my old week. At least thats my explanation.

That’s no biggie for me, but perhaps you might consider givin an option for that or pulling the start of the week from icu or …

Actually I use a Monday start week, however when I pull the weekly values I do that directly from the athlete page that must default to a Sunday start. I will see if there’s a way to make that configurable.

Hi James,

I have already made a comment on your buymeacoffee.com.

My fitness and fatigue always show the correct values on my Epix2.
My form is always 1% lower on the glance (-27%) vs the intervals.icu website (-26%)

My eFTP is always wrong. I have an eFTP for running and for cycling which are both 241W but the glance always shows 200W.
I don’t know which eFTP will be shown (I prefer running because that is what I do most of the time) but maybe it could be possible to make it a setting in the menu so you can choose which eFTP will be shown. As for now it shows for both the wrong value.

BTW: the glance looks great, so I hope the values will be correct soon

updated to 0.7b… still no next activity in sight :disappointed_relieved:

I’m working on a setting to show either run or ride eFTP (or both). I’m not sure why your eFTP is showing incorrectly right now. DM me your API key and I’ll check it out.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? I used your account specifically to debug, and had it working here, so it should be OK…

Same here, still no next activities. I reinstalled the widget, but did not had any success

Hmm OK thanks. Could be that the dataset is still to large for your watches versus my tests. I’ll reduce it down to 1 week in the future rather than 2 weeks and see if that helps.

James,

Where can I find the API key? There are no settings on the glance on my Epix2 and no settings on Garmin Connect IQ?

Tnx again, Arno Baels

Within Intervals.icu → /Settings Page… all the way at the bottom.

Yes, tried un-/reinstall. reauthorisation incl. all possible hooks/options set, still no planned activities :see_no_evil:

New version 0.08 available:

  • You can now select an athlete type in settings to determine how eFTP is displayed (cycling, running or both).
  • Next activity view is now limited to next 7 days to reduce data overhead. @thrstn @FrankGNL hopefully this helps!

0.08 is installed eFTP part is working as expected.

Unfortunately the ‘next planned activities’ is still empty
please let me know if you need my API key to test things out

One other thing. Text for FIT, FAT and FORM are cut of on my Enduro

Yes you can please send it to me as a private message.

Ok think I’ve got to the bottom of this one finally.
On devices with very low memory, it is not possible to pull the activity information from the future as it exceeds memory limitations. If the device has low memory, it will now only pull 3 days of future activities. With higher memory, it will pull 7 days.

Please let me know if this finally resolves it. @FrankGNL the glance view should display nicer too.

Version: 0.08b (may take a couple of hours to appear)

Just tested and I think it will work fine, so have added the 245 and 245 music. I’ll release a minor update including them later today.
