Garmin connect widget

Hi James. Installed the app on my Fenix 7 but the only setting I see is athlete type (cyclist, runner or both). Where can I configure my account settings? I assume they need to be known to fetch my data? Thanks!

Hi Jamesā€¦It will work on the forerunner 735 XT.?
Thanks

When you first launch the widget it will open a browser window (you need to have the connect app open) where you can log in to intervals.icu and authorise the connection.

No support for the 735xt, itā€™s upgrade time!

I guess something must have gone wrong then overhere.
No login screen and I see values which are not mine.
Will try to reinstall to see if that works.

21:52 update: Reinstalled it. See the glance with the message ā€œClick to authorizeā€. Tick on the glance (GCM open), nothing happens. The authorisation screen wont popup :frowning:

Gr Johan

I suppose soā€¦Thanks James

Very strange, what device are you using (phone)? This seems to be working for all others. Maybe try the old IT classic - reboot everything and try again.

That did the trick!
Rebooted my watch and phone and now the authorisation screen popped up and I am in.
Thanks!

With the last update with showing eFTP for both cycling as running, my eFTP for running is correct (241W), but my eFTP for cycling is still 200W instead of 241W.
So 1 fixed, 1 to go
Tnx in advance!

Your athlete overview page is showing your FTP as 200w, even though your power page shows it as higher. So this is an intervals thing rather than the widget. Maybe @david can helpā€¦

It works perfectly on my venu2.

As a suggestion for future updates: It would be possible to choose between the next workout and the previous training?

Thank you very much.

What would you want to see on previous training? Generally this info is available (in better detail) on your Garmin anyway.

Really nothing, It is because since I donā€™t use intervals to program workouts the second screen appears empty

Ah ok. In that case I would just not bother scrolling down :stuck_out_tongue:

Can you add support for Vivoactive 4? There is also 4S (smaller screen size) or older 3 model. Thanks!

Unfortunately not, the firmware on them is too old/basic to support this type of widget.

The eFTP on the /power page shows the best eFTP for each selected power curve. The one on the /athletes page and elsewhere is a continuously updated eFTP number that decays slowly if you reduce training load. You need to do a long enough max effort every now and then to get a good number.

Love the widget! Question regarding the value displayed in form: on intervals.com it shows as a nr but on the widget it shows a %
Is that correct? If yes, how does it relate to the numerical nr showed in intervals.com?
Thanks

This has a big influence on the result, especially if fitness is much lower or higher then 100. % value will put you in the red zone very fast with low fitness values!
I donā€™t know if the widget has a setting to choose between one or te other? Or does it take what is configured on intervals? Remember that this could be a setting that has to be changed on both PC/Mobile platforms! The settings from the fitness page are not shared (or at least not all settings) between both platforms.
