I’ll rack my brains, but I think there is probably a simpler change to the authorisation page that will enable it to work properly if David is able to replicate it.
New version (0.06) released with fix for the iOS authorization
Is anybody else getting ‘null’ values for their next activity screen?
What was the issue? Was it at Garmin’s End of iOS issue that you had to workaround?
Tx
As part of the data transaction you pass to intervals you give them a redirect URL (basically where to send the user after the authorisation). I changed the format of this which works on both platforms. The original format was more of a ‘deeplink’ back to Garmin which works in the safari browser or on Android, but not in the simplified browser view that the Garmin app uses on iOS.
iOS is working now, thx.
A feature request, I only use intervals.icu for running. On the Home Screen it shows my bike eFTP. Would like to see an option to choose between bike/run.
I’ve got an idea for this, I’ll see if I can do it tomorrow.
Maybe an option will be that we can select a default sport within the site. But we need David for that.
And one big I found. If I long press the up/menu button from within the widget I get the IQ logo with an explanation mark
Thank you. Should be an easy fix.
Edit - minor update being released now that fixes this crash.
I also don’t see any next activities, I only have running activities can that cause this problem?
No, running activities work for me. It should show anything with the type ‘WORKOUT’. I will DM as you may be able to help me debug.
Now I broke it.
It worked for me for days now (yeah, nice work ) with my iPhone (after that first authentication through an android device which I described earlier as a workaround)
But then, I accidentally mis-clicked and deinstalled the widget.
After reinstalling the widget the second time I got NULL for every value. It didn’t ask for a new authentication either.
EDIT Also, I think it behaves little different because the message “please connect your phone and open the connect mobile app” isn’t triggered/shown when I have the connect store app open (only that app. No GC App). I think this is different than before
Thanks. I will check this in the morning. I’ve got an idea as to what it could be - unfortunately once the OAUTH is added to the app it becomes incredibly difficult to test any changes and debug (Garmin issue).
I just downloaded it and get null values on my Fenix 6. Is there a step where I need to connect my intervals account to the widget or how does it work?
“null” for me as well. The Garmin app doesn’t show any sign in dialog… (tried reinstalling several times).
Have released a minor update to fix the missing authorisation prompt (0.06c)
New version released (0.07) with a fix for the next activity page, which returned null values for some users. @FrankGNL @thrstn Thanks for @david help getting to the bottom of this one.
How do I get it to display my running eFTP as opposed to cycling eFTP (0W !!) ??
You can’t yet, I need to add a settings page so you can choose between cycling, running or both. Maybe this weekend.
Just installed version 0.7.0
But it looks like I see someone else their fitness values. I even reinstalled the widget, but still completely different fitness values/eftp
The wrong version uploaded to Connect IQ. I’ve updated it now (0.07b). Sorry!
