Amazfit (Zepp) support available

Short question regarding the inervals.icu app on the t-rex pro: i wish, I could choose to only display the load from running.
In the calender view on intervals I have different entries for running and in my case table tennis. On the amazfit intervals app, there is only the sum of both activity types combined.

And as cherry on the cake, it would be fantastic to have a watchface with intervals.icu metrics on my t-rex 3 pro.
Is this theoretically possible?

Hi.

I practice swimming and I have a T-Rex 3.

I’ve been syncing Zepp with Intervals for about a month and everything was working fine.

About 4 days ago, the pace and cadence data stopped syncing. Only heart rate and temperature data are being synced.

The lap intervals are still working, but since pace and cadence data are no longer being received, the intervals don’t appear. If I manually correct the pace and cadence data, the intervals reappear, however, obviously, the pace and cadence are wrong.

Does anyone know if it’s a bug, or some setting that needs to be adjusted in the synchronization with Zepp?

hi, I have balace 2 and I confirm that, since the latest update, all workouts created on Intervals are synced with the Zepp app and sent to the watch. It’s amazing :star_struck:

Yes, but it looks like the option “until lap button press for” is only available and supported by Garmin/Suunto. I can’t make it work for amazfit (I am certain its not supported yet).

I have been using intervals x Zepp for a while now and have noticed many other small limitations.

Any chance or plans to load PAI value to Wellness section?

I did a run today with my Helio strap and recorded it as an “outdoor run” (German: „Laufen im Freien“), but it isn’t syncing to Intervals.icu. In my settings, “run” and “trail run” are enabled as activities, and I already tried re-downloading the data. Other workouts—like weight training—sync without any issues.

Any idea how I can debug this @david ?

I don’t know if this is normal or a connection problem. I’ve had my Amazfit Helio Strap since the first week of October and it’s been synced with Intervals since day one. But it’s not showing HRV data (it’s enabled), only sleep time, sleep quality, and resting heart rate. Is this due to an API issue or is it just happening to me? If anyone knows how to fix it, I’d appreciate it.

I’ve also been using the Helio strap since October and haven’t encountered any problems. It has been working perfectly, even in the past few days. So, it doesn’t seem to be an API issue. Good luck!

So I guess it’s a problem with my connection. The “annoyance” is having to add the HRV data manually, but oh well, it’s not a major issue. What I find strange is that all the information syncs except for that one piece of data.

I think I understand what happened; I just experienced something similar.

I was missing last night’s HRV data and had no stress readings, even though the app is supposed to update those every 5 minutes based on HRV. I traced it back and noticed that data collection stopped exactly after my workout.

When you start a workout via the app, background HRV measurements are automatically paused until the session ends. In my case, the Zepp app glitched during the workout. I had started it manually but couldn’t stop it within the app, so it was apparently still running in the background.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app triggered a prompt asking if I wanted to end the workout. As soon as I stopped it, the measurements returned.
Good luck!

Hi.

I don’t understand why, if intervals obtains this FIT file through the Zepp API,

it displays this

(even if I use “Reprocess File” → “Use Laps instead of detecting intervals”)

I have Active 2, just sync it with Intervals for the first time. I confirm, there is not interval data for swimming. In Data tab, all falls under one ‘Recovery’ record. I’ve checked the ‘.fit’ file, it has the Lab data. Reanalyzing the file does not help.

The problem persists. The cadence and pace data are not synchronizing, which is why the intervals are not being created.

Like @Jajr1999, I am experiencing the same HRV issues with my Helio Strap. I have had it for a week and a half, and only sleep duration/score, resting HR and steps are syncing. I tried using the Helio Strap for a few days before pairing it with Intervals. The historical HRV data is not synchronising either. I only use the Helio Strap as a fitness tracker, not for workouts.

I have also noticed something strange with the Zapp app. My Helio Strap is far too generous with sleep hours. These are often exceeded by an hour or two. When I adjust this manually in the Zapp app, the change is not carried over to Intervals. If I change these hours in Intervals, the Zapp app overwrites them with the incorrect overshot values again.

For me, the only issue is the automatic upload of the HRV data. Otherwise, I think the bracelet works quite well; among other things, I think it accurately reflects my sleep patterns.

I create Elliptical and Strength Training workouts in Intervals.icu, but they don’t show up on the athlete’s Amazfit Balance 2 watch. Cycling and Running workouts do appear correctly, but Elliptical and Strength Training do not.

I compared the figures with my Garmin for a while, and they match quite closely.

As for detecting sleep duration, I think this is a personal issue. I often read before going to sleep and in the morning to catch up on the news. I suspect this time is recorded as “sleep”. It’s just a unfortunate that the manual corrections in the Zapp app are not carried over to Intervals.icu.

An update following my previous messages.

I did some further testing. With regard to HRV, I noticed in the connections tab at Amazfit that ‘HRV (rMSSD)’ box was not checked! I am certain that I had turned this on. After checking it again, all HRV data is now coming in!

Regarding manually editing sleep data, I see that this is a problem with the Zepp app. This is because modified data is not transferred to other apps, such as Apple Health.

I use “until lap button press” for warm ups. Gives people more flexibility, especially if they need to run/ride to a specific location that takes a little bit longer than the set step duration/distance.
