Amazfit (Zepp) support available

Hello,
I’m still finding my footing here, so thanks for bearing with me

So, I have the Amazfit Bip 6 and was able to successfully sync it with Intervals. The thing is, everything is imported to Intervals, except for the Activities. It says there is no activities registered, but there is.
So I was wondering what can potentially be the issue. Can anyone help?
Thank you,

The Zepp API isn’t returning any activities for your user id. Are you sure you logged in to the correct account when you connected?

We have just added “Zepp ID” to the bottom of the Amazfit box in /settings/connections. Please go to the “Profile” page in the Zepp app and check the ID near the top matches.

Absolutely right, i was doing the login with the wrong data. Thank you and apologies!

A feature extension request:
If you use the synced workout plan from intervals.icu, it cannot be used along with any kind of route/navigation on the watch. The watch doesn’t allow you to combine the two. I’ve tested every possible workaround, there’s simply no way to make it work on the Trex 3 pro. It’s frustrating because when using Zepp Coach training plan, the watch does allow routes and navigation. I really don’t understand why that functionality isn’t extended to interval.icu session.

I do appreciate and welcome the feature and integration of intervals.icu, its really amazing and hope this get refined, and extends to other watches.

Unfortunately, this feature is strangely not available on Zepp. It’s not an Intervals problem. I have the Balance 2, and every time I start a self-created workout, I can’t follow a route on the map. The two functions aren’t compatible.
I also asked Amazfit Italy support, and they confirmed that at the moment it’s not possible to use both workout templates and navigation together. There’s even a post on Reddit about this issue. I really hope Amazfit listens and adds this feature soon.

Thanks, I have also raised this on reddit and amazfit. Hopefully they’ll listen and fix this in the future.

There is another odd limitation: the T-Rex 3pro stops the workout, as soon as it is finished and without the possibility to extend.
Let’s say I have a workout for an easy 60min run, it is stopped and saved by the watch exactly after 60min. No chance to extend it. If you want to run longer, you have to start a new workout.

So, is there any possible workaround in the intervals.icu workout builder other than making the planned workout with a big safety margin for the duration?
I really don’t want to do that, because than the planned training load for the week gets completely out of control…

Sorry if I’m asking in the wrong post. I see there’s an “app” available called “Intervals X Zepp” with a description, but it points to the Amazift US page. Is this an actual app and/or what does it do?

The issue is with the Zepp app itself. I’m seeing the same behavior on the Balance 2. I worked around it by adding a cooldown phase at the end of every workout with no set duration, so I can always end the session manually with the button instead of the watch auto-ending it when the workout finishes

Ok, and how do you do that with intervals.icu? I know, i can do that on zepp but I think with a intervals.icu it is not possible.
I tried “press lap” but that does not work.

For now I’m doing it with Zepp. I’m not sure how to do it from Intervals yet. With the Balance 2, I only got today’s update and finally have workout sync with Intervals. I also tried “press lap” but it doesn’t work.
@david Do you have any suggestions on how to do this? How can we create a free/open cooldown at the end so I can finish it with the button? Thanks a lot.

I don’t know how to do that. Unfortunately I only have a T-Rex 3 and not a Pro so I can’t experiment with this stuff. I will ask Zepp for help.

Amazfit/Zepp are aware of this problem and working on a solution, no timeline yet.

In general what does everyone use “until lap button press for”? If the watch lets the workout continue past the end of the planned steps would this be enough?

Yes, that would be enough. Amazfit should just kill this stupid autosave thing.
There is a 5s countdown at the end of the workout and that’s totally fine. But after that there should be either a prompt to let me decide if I want to finish now, or if I want to continue.

That and incorporate power in workouts as target metric, and the intervals.icu and zepp integration would be perfect.

What is this one about? As far as I know power is supported.

Cheers

Wahooooo! It works. Seems that amazfit has changed something. A couple of weeks ago, I could not use power in the planned workouts from intervals.icu.

BTW: I love intervals.icu. It is so powerful, really great work!
I can not count how many times I promoted this website in the last 2 month. Every serious endurance athlet could benefit if it.

Thanks! Zepp are still activity developing all of this, so changes and improvements will be frequent.

Sorry, I didn’t quite understand which sportwatches support workout planning from Intervals. I have an Active 2, which isn’t supported. I can see the workouts created on Intervals in the Zepp app, but I can’t send them to the watch. Does it only work with the T-Rex Pro, or also with the Balance 2?

AFAIK It works with TRex 3 Pro for now but it seems it will be expanded to Balance 2 as well, maybe even with the firmware which is being uploaded in these days.
