Workout builder

Do you mean that un the prompt you can puta instead of Z2 or Z3, if I want the Athlete to maintein in a specific hr range, p.e 140-145 that is not an specific zone, I can do IT? (I’ thought that I was suporter User I’ll chech).

I use to do it with TP, just the Athlete to know wa range of RPE should maintein. The clock shows it, but nothing more.

You can define different zones e.g. X1 140-145bpm X2 145-147 bpm and so on and then define the workout as
- 20m CZX2 HR (145-147 bpm prescription).
Of course you have to define every possible range you want to use as a custom zone range.

To use Custom Zones, the athlete itself also needs ‘supporter’ status, not only the coach!
And your avatar does not display the purple supporter star.

Yes I just tested I can create RPE basd workout in Stryd then it pushes it to Garmin and in my watch there’s a translation to Watt ranges corresponding to the RPE intensity.

See bug report and some suggestions how to improve it here. Activity: workout line is off for distance-based steps

TLDR, intervals.icu simply converts distance to time in that chart based on what it expects the pace to be. This is fine when it’s still in the future.

But with an completed workout it could (as demonstrated by Garmin) switch to a different algorithm and make the blue line perfect. The algo is not complex and the data is available, just not the priority/dev time. vote that bug report if you think it’s important.

Just to close this off and for the benefit of someone else looking later, the below syntax did exactly what I wanted it to.

Main Set 5x

  • 6m Z4 HR intensity=interval
  • 1m30s intensity=recovery
