Hi David
Is the whoop link down again? It’s not working for me when I try to give access to intervals. Or back to test status?
I get session expired - we’re not able to process your request

Hmm. I think they are having an issue. I disconnected myself from Whoop and it also failed after the consent screen with “session expired”. However I managed to get it to work by logging in to the web app first in the same browser:
So do that and then try connect Intervals.icu and hopefully it will work.
Someone else contacted me about this and they didn’t come right even with this workaround. If that happens to you please log a ticket with Whoop. The “session expired” thing is before Intervals.icu is involved so I can’t do much about this.
Thanks but the link isnt working at all from intervals now
Double click sends me back or log in at whoop send me back to intervals.
I will raise a ticket with whoop. - Raised I 'll report back
Still no change I have reached out to them again Ill keep pursuing this until I get a satisfactory answer.
Whoop responded with:
If the issue persists after these steps, please reach out again, and we can explore further options to help resolve your issu
I have also checked that the Intervals.icu WHOOP app still has production rate limits etc. which it does.
David Latest reply.
At this time, WHOOP does not have a direct partnership with Intervals.icu. We recommend reaching out to their support team to investigate this integration issue further.
For reference I’m connected to strava and training peaks no issues.
I just disconnected and reconnected WHOOP twice and it worked fine. So maybe whatever it was is sorted out?
Good to know it’s probably my settings I guess. Thanks
Something is definitely up. For the last 2 hours Intervals.icu has been getting very many 429 (rate limiting) errors from WHOOP. The WHOOP app dashboard is showing unchanged rate limits. I am going to get in contact with them.
Oh thank you
I found their rate limit increase request form and have filled it in. Hopefully they action it soon.
Connected thank you David! Great form filling
It’s not fixed yet. The rate limit might reset at midnight UTC or similar, then data will come in again. When I first asked for production rate limits it took WHOOP ages (more than a week) to look at the request.
Hi David
I responded again to whoops support. They wanted to know if the issue was resolved. Hopefully giving them a nudge to follow up quickly. Copied below.
As you advised I contacted intervals support. I have copied their reply below. If whoop agrees the form then I think the problem maybe solved? Have whoop received and agreed the form?
Does the Whoop integration pull weight by chance? It doesn’t seem to be updating in my Wellness data, although it seems to be readily accessible enough in their API.
Thanks for all that you do!
I haven’t heard anything from WHOOP and they haven’t adjusted the rate limits. What this means is that data will stop coming in from WHOOP later today and restart again at midnight UTC. Nothing is lost, just delayed.
No it doesn’t. I did look at that but they don’t have any history for weight which makes it difficult to implement. For example if the data is delayed then the weight might be out of date etc.
Have continued the support ticket again today requesting them (whoop) to confirm they have seen the form and actioned it I will keep that support ticket going to see if it pushes them to react
Latest email from whoop.
Our teams will respond directly to the request from intervals.icu.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timeframe on when this may be, but we hope for this to be very soon.
Waiting for my WHOOP to arrive … This post makes me nervous that I can’t connect to import my data!? Until then I think this announcement from WHOOP might be an option? … Export your WHOOP data in spreadsheet
Cheers,
Michael
The integration does work. Data is just delayed during the latter part of the day (UTC) due to the rate limit issues. If you do have problems connecting try in the morning UTC time.
I still haven’t heard anything from WHOOP. Bumping up Intervals.icu rate limits should be a quick simple thing to do. I will try do some LinkedIn stalking to get in contact with someone. If anyone knows anyone at WHOOP please try contact them.
