WHOOP integration added

Intervals.icu now has support for WHOOP. You can sync sleep, resting HR, HRV (rMSSD), recovery, respiration and SpO2. Look for the Whoop box in /settings, tick the wellness metrics you are interested in and click “Connect”:

Your complete history with Whoop is synced when you connect.

This is currently limited to 250 users (11 gone already, thanks to everyone who helped test) but hopefully this will be increased when those run out.

Hi David,
Does Whoop data now supersede previous Garmin wellness data?
Thanks
Colin

Yes. Whatever wellness fields you select will replace old data from Garmin and other sources.

Thank you David, very excited about this one!

Thanks David!

So happy to see this! Been waiting for this addition for ages so I can tie the two up (not so happy to see how terrible my sleep score is though )

Added !! thank youuu for this feature!!!

Whoop is very accurate at sleep tracking but thinks I need 10+h a night and I can’t do more than approx 6h30. Missed day in this chart was long travel where I really didn’t sleep more than an hour.

Interesting that the missed day is due to you not sleeping well (less than an hour), so not getting a good rest. Yet on Tuesday it decided you needed less sleep? hmm…

Yes! Thank you!

They need a way to adjust the baseline sleep needed. It’s based on averages for age and sex. I have to just ignore it as even when on holiday and allowing myself to sleep in I never meet Whoop’s suggestion

Great news! Thank you very much!
Which thread is better to use for suggestions and comments about Whoop integration?

I think just use this one. Tx.

This is great! Curious how this data influences things like the fitness or freshness scores. Is there any documentation on how this data is used?

The data is just synced to Intervals.icu and doesn’t influence any of those scores.

Will there be any updates using the hrv for those scores?

I don’t think so. It seems to me that trying to combine things like HRV with other stuff isn’t a good idea. Better to look at everything and see if something is out of normal range. There are some people on these forums who are quite knowledgeable on this topic.

Anyway to have the resting heartrate sync as average sleeping heart rate? I like to override whoop’s idea of resting heart rate with the lowest recorded heart rate from the nights sleep?

Out of curiosity, why? Lowest HR recorded during sleep is not your rHR. Neither is any HR recorded during sleep for that matter
