What is the procedure to become a coach (in intervals.icu)

hello

what is the procedure to become a coach on interval and be on the list?

Best regards

Fill in your bio on your profile page so people know what coaching you do, languages you coach in, link to your website and so on and let me know. I am not sure what the “signal to noise” ratio is like re incoming questions etc…

I had just over 150 people ask me questions over the last 2.75 years. There are busy days/periods and then quiet periods with no contact. I’ve worked with less than 20 of the total queries received, some for a few months and some from day 1.

Hi @david

I’ve updated my profile. My intent is to be a coach and sounding board to s small grass roots group of gravel racers at Fritterzcycling. This will allow me to continue having access to their data.

Cheers…Stu

Anyone can coach other athletes on Intervals.icu. You just have to ask to coach them in the chat and they need to accept. Or they need to do “Add Coach” on the /athletes page and you need to accept.

If you want to show up in the “Ask a Coach” box on the calendar page visible to everyone then ask me. I am not sure what the questions answered to business ratio is like for the ask a coach box but very few coaches have asked to be removed from the list.

Thanks David, I don’t necessarily need to be on the list - I’m on a journey of learning and probably not all that qualified to field questions from those outside my circle. Continuing to have access in light of the Strava API fiasco is the main concern at the moment.
