The “Keep all laps” option prevents any filtering of intervals from laps based on power or heart rate. This is useful for analysing ramp tests.
The interval list page now supports editing of intervals for precise edits. You can only edit “Work” intervals and deleting an interval replaces it with “Recovery”.
Do you have the “privacy circle” enabled on Strava? There is an outstanding Strava API bug that sometimes messes up laps for activities using the privacy circle.
I thought so, but since you specifically / only mentioned FIT files If I would need to manually upload something, it’s not uncommon that it is a TCX file instead.
Is there a difference between selecting Use Laps at bottom or selecting from Analyse drop down? It seems like I cannot get my choice to stay selected, I leave the activity and come back, and auto detect has reoccurred.
When did that last happen? There was a bug that would sometimes cause activities to be re-analysed losing manual edits and so on. But supposedly that is fixed.
“Use Laps” is the same as ticking the box on “Analyse”. In future Analyse will have more options.
would be good to be able to compare power meters if you’re going to allow unload of fit files (e.g. different fit files for the same ride) for 1m, 5m, 20m etc and as a line graph
May 10th. I was trying to compare 3’ efforts and I couldn’t get May 10 efforts to show. I think the laps did stay eventually, but not until I selected Use Laps (not analyse) and I couldn’t get that days efforts to show in graph when I had May 2020 selected, they showed up when I selected “Today” from top?
