TRAIN2ICU plan transfert problem

Hi guys,

I’m a coach managing multiple athletes and intervals.icu is an amazing tool for analyzing workouts, as I like to work with CP and W’.

The thing is (and nothing against the guys at Intervals) I much prefer the workout builder and plan builder platform from TrainingPeaks.

I found that I could transfert plans with TRAIN2ICU and up until now, it kinda work, but not really.

I came across the following problem. When I try to transfer a plan, I can see it in my plan library, but it’s empty and I don’t see any training. Also if I wanna apply the plan to an athlete, every workout are on the same day, presented at 1m running workout with no graphics or nothing, only the name, as if the datat (.zwo, powertarges, etc) didn’t transfer. So it means that either it’s lost somewhere either TP doesn’t give the permission to transfer this particular data.

Is it something that can be corrected ? Has anyone came across this problem ?

Thank you very much !

Did you check out

Yes, but unless I didn’t read well, it’s mainly for auto-coached people. Because I don’t want to make my athletes sync on their side.

I want to sync all my things on my side and then go from there.

For now my solution (which kinda work well honestly) is create a dummy athlete account in TP, make ridiculous plans (with like 5-6 workouts per day) then transfer the calendar to intervals and then put everything in my plan library. It’s some kind of 20-30 min one shot deal that works well…

based on the website, TRAIN2ICU is based off the work of tp2intervals.

If you like the “drag and drop” of the workout builder more - did you have a look at
zwofactory.com - the web-based workout editor for Zwift

There you can create Workouts in zwo format which you can easily import to intervals.

Personally I think you would be faster, learning the workout syntax of intervals, but I understand if that may be not an option to you

It could be an idea ! The main problem is that I have around 150 different workouts already built in…

But tp2intervals can copy the whole workout library for a coach account, so they aren‘t lost if that works.

ok that’s good to know ! I’ll check it out a bit more (I probably didn’t read well the forum post about tp2intervals). Thanks !
