Swimming PB problem

Hi, I have a problem with my Garmin watch sometimes counting a lap by accident. I know this is possible to fix this while swimming, but if I dont, I get problems when they get transfered to Intervals.icu. If I accendently lap planned 100m intervall after 10 sek. I will show as a new PB of 100m in the app. Is there a way to deal with this?

How to correct number of swim laps or swim interval distance?

Often/sometimes my Garmin detects the wrong number om swim laps or I forget to change pool length. That leads to wrong interval and activity distance. If I try to reduce the distance of a “corrupt” interval from say 100m to 50m, the duration of that interval automatically reduced. If I then increase the duration, the distance increase again. Is there a way to change the distance of an interval without changing the duration?
