I’ve tried the recommended apps inside the forums, but I’m like looking for a free app that only needs to be able to load zwo files, preferably more than one.
I’ve used ictrainer, it’s too complicated and not very stable, some bugs, I just want simple functionality. I used to use paid trainerroad.
Thanks guys.
Any reason for specifically zwo?
Just as an example, the fact is that documents such as erg can also be.
I’ve tried breakaway and need medals to use it, is it possible to just buy the whole software and when loading the workout files inside the cloud, you can only select a file individually, you can’t just browse the charts of all the workouts directly
If I could browse directly to plan in a similar software and choose any workout I like, I think I would try and try again!
I’ve been using Flux with success. Nice and simple, you have to import the workout you want each time but hardly an issue as you can download whole folders of workouts from Intervals
This one is also great, except that you can only upload the files you want to workout individually, not multiple files
Golden Cheetah
Tx for trying out the app.
The app supports a wide variety of files (GPX / FIT / TCX / ERG / MRC) and also diff modes (ERG / SLOPE / RESISTANCE / HR etc). Because of this and users have free rein on how they organise their DropBox folder, I can’t really be sure what exists in their Dropbox. While Processing those ERG/MRC files is super quick, showing the workout charts would be trivial.
However, those FIT and such files, depending on the Hardware the app is running on, can take upwards of 10secs+ (Each) to process to generate the chart. This makes it non-trivial to process effectively and efficiently for users to “browse” thru the their list of workouts.
Putting the workouts into eg: Intervals.icu’s calendar would help remedy this. I realise that this is may likely not be the answer you’re looking for. I have on my to-do list to pull workouts lists from Intervals.icu’s workout folder which would remove the ambiguity of determining if the files are GPX/FIT/TCX.
let me know if the above helps in any way.
Hi @Hugh_Laurie, have made significant progress in getting workouts in the IcuWorkoutLibrary (it will be named as Int.Icu[FolderName]) to also be synced to the BreakAway: Indoor Training app similar to the WOD it currently supports.(With Graphic)
But more work to be done to clean up the code and put the right hooks in the proper locations for syncing it with “Pull To Refresh”
Tx
Retested the new version and it’s great. Frequent reports of inervals.icu authentiacation error though!
I realized there is also a virtual map feature, how do I define the route or direction, I set a point and the route ends up riding on the sea.
When synchronizing strava, can you show the whole blue chart, similar to trainerroad, very nice.
Finally, I would like to ask if there is a buyout version available
thanks!!!
Are you using it on multiple devices? Currently Intervals.icu only provides 1 Auth token hence the situation. But I’m also using icloud to sync the token to all devices, but there would still be the initial instance where the sync hasn’t taken a hold yet. you Might need to login once to both before it sticks.
The virtual Map/GPS is just some fancy GPS Art that basically does some “drawing” and provides Speed/Distance.
You can however, do an “outdoor ride” indoors using FIT/GPX/TCX files and it will follow the route
The “blue chart” and whatever other graphic is only available to the “big boys” like TrainerRoad / Zwift / Rouvy and such. Strava doesn’t allow anyone else to do this automatically. In fact, theres not much I can update beyond the name and desc (IIRC) to Strava. I can’t even make my rides private or add gears automatically using their API.
You can however, upload the chart manually… There is an option to within “Advanced Settings” that will create a screenshot of your workout and you can also add some custom text.
