Doing my first training plan. Works great for 14w, until first Race. Day of the race, Ramp exceeds 60 and Fitness drops from 56 to 5, so my Form is off the next 3 months. I am assuming that I made an error creating the race. I used a notional 4h and a historical load of 150 creating the event, a charity ride. I replaced the Race with an equivalent workout and ramp is 4.2 and fitness is 63. I go to my A Race, and Ramp and Fitness have similar errors.
How do I create races so that they work within the fitness plan?
Yes, I deleted all races. I dug out of the forum where people were having issues, so they just used a workout. So I deleted the race, made a similar workout, and I can continue building a plan.
I figured I didn’t know how to create a race, and someone would school me. So no reason to keep a bad race, and to get on with novice training plan build.
I have fixed this bug. The plan CTL and ATL calculation was using the values from the race on the athletes calendar and not recomputing using the plan workouts.
