Mismatch in CHO use vs Calories

I have a workout with a few maximal efforts and not work in-between. I have 804kcal listed as burnt and only 184g CHO. For an interval workout with no breaks I have 450kcal and 178g CHO.

Is calories counting baseline calories in this too?

Can’t you burn also fat calories during a workout?

Yeah, but I think the problem is that 180g CHO is roughly 720kcal, which doesn’t match.
These two metrics are calculated independently. Calories is derived from power, and Carbs from Variability and some other metrics I currently don’t remember. There is a topic in this forum about “Carbs used” which is describing how it is calculated.

Ok so looks like junk metric for these type of efforts then.Essentially a track start, with near to complete rest in between.
