Nice, now it behaves as expected ![]()
Hi @Rutger , thanks for this great sounding app! I’ve just signed up for the waiting list and I would really love to get access to also provide some feedback.
Thanks
Julius
Did another nice update today!
- improved the LeCoach personality. It will remain a happy coach but is now a bit more honest direct and to the point.
- improvement in periodization view in training plan details. this now adjusts based on plan edits made.
- fixed a timezone issue
- added ai usage limits and other protection mechanisms to keep control over ai costs
- added our very own blog

- several ui improvements
ps @JulesAdler planning to add users faster from next week onwards.
Thanks @Rutger! I will wait and look forward to joining the community!
More improvements going coming your way. We added broader historic message context and gave LeCoach a tool to look up previous conversations you had with LeCoach. So if you discussed something last week you can now get back to it. Also added a mobile view for training plan details and other mobile improvements.
This helped me a lot. Thanks! ![]()
Thanks Jaka!
Shipped two improvements just now for all of you:
- Made several improvements to ‘event plans’ including an improved taper period
- Now Lecoach also sends an automatic activity report when you did a ride but no workout was scheduled. Before we only sent reports when we could match the activity to a workout or when you had a workout but did not log an activity. As always, the report is smart and will recommend plan adaptations if needed.
Keep on training, get LeCoach!
New feature: LeCoach now is its very own support agent. If you’re unsure about how LeCoach works, just ask LeCoach
. Seems obvious right?
We also created a public support page, feedback board and the option to send us support emails!
Why did I suddenly TODAY start getting emails from LeCoach BUT never signed up for it? And found it connected to my intervals.icu account?
Hi, yesterday we released a new feature which is email notifications for activity reports. You can disable this in settings.
I was supposed to have deload next week, but since the first workout of this week was too hard and “the wheels fell off” the next day, I asked Le Coach to switch to deload for the remainder of the week. And start building again from next week.
I was hoping this is just a single prompt and it would simply adjust the plan. My goal is still the same, race dates are fixed, training camp dates are fixed — everything else can be adjusted. But it took quite a few prompts to move everything back into place again.
Does Le Coach have specific instructions to handle such cases? Anything I could have done differently?
Btw, it seems to only answer my first question today. Follow-up questions just keep spinning until I reload page and ask again.
That use case is something lecoach should be able to handle quite easily in normal conditions.
We had some performance issues today that i believe caused it, as well as the long response time for answers (kept spinning).
All issues should be fixed now, added a few extra guardrails and checks. Let me know if if you still experience the lagged responses.
Any chance of daily wellness check’s using hrv r/s and sleep etc?
Hi not sure what you mean exactly. Could you explain? Currently daily wellness checkin uses hrv, resting hr, sleep duration and sleep score. If all four are present its based on these four, if just two are present on 2 etc.
Ah ok I only have HRv and sleep. Any chance sleeping hr, readiness and training advice?
Hi,
so i tried to add a HIT block for a specific week, but lecoach wouldn’t let me, due to the max number of hard days.
Is it possible to add a exception to this hard boundary?
best regards
If you apply this change via chatting with LeCoach (plan edit mode) it indeed warns you if the change would break any of the rules. But it should be just a warning that you can tell it to ignore.
Did you try to add the week that way (plan edit mode) or did you try to edit/add individual workouts via the agenda?
Big news, LeCoach will become generally available! In the past months we’ve been really focused on reliability of the ai so that LeCoach is not a gimmick but an actual, high-quality coach. A coach that produces top-notch plans and advice every single time. This sounds boring but is, and the other ai coach initiatives can probably relate to this, the hardest part by far.
Thanks to the input & feedback of our early beta testers LeCoach we are now at a place where we feel confident to take the next step. So, LeCoach is now ready to go public! This means that we’ll open up the full waitlist this week in tranches of 50 people per day!
From today onwards I will work on this full-time to make LeCoach a real service that’s built to last. This also means that LeCoach will become a paid service. However I want to be as generous as I can towards our earliest users, you all!
So anyone already using the service today will get 50% off forever. This means LeCoach will cost less than €3,50 per month (billed annually). This essentially means running it at or even below cost. Anyone currently on the waitlist will get 25% off forever. Also, there is a 14-day free trial, no card/payment required. So zero risk to try it out.
Because I’ll be working on this dedicated from now on expect more new features to come soon! By subscribing you help fund the future development of LeCoach!
Thank you all for your confidence.
Rutger, founder of LeCoach
Thanks for the 50% off forever and congrats on going public!
Quick question: what happens to the existing training plan if someone goes on hiatus? Will it still be available on Intervals.icu?
