Is my TSS from Zwift low because of a warm up + race + cool down?

As we all know if you plan a Zwift race but warm up first and cool down after then we end up with three sessions… does that understate the workout’s TSS?

I wouldn’t expect that to make much difference. Are you seeing different TSS somewhere else? The biggest impact on that is FTP which must be the same in both places to get the same TSS.

Understood. Appreciate the response @David. I had this theory in my head so I logged the 3x sessions in my wahoo bolt as one and also uploaded the 3x activities individually. The bolt’s session gave me a TSS that was 10 pts higher than the sum of the 3x activities. My FTP is equal across platforms but my crank power meter to my bolt may be variable vs my kickr power meter which is linked to Zwift and thus to the 3x activities.
