Intervals.icu library update complete!

Old version: Longer athlete names are cropped with “…” on Athletes Overview page, not overlapping with chat button;
New version: Longer names have more characters visible, not ending with “…” and overlaps with chat button.

I’ll not post a screenshot since it’s sensitive information but I can send privately if needed.

Font seems in generel to be smaller in the new version. Some text /pull down options has also changed color from Bold Black to Pale blue, Bold black to Gray etc.
You are not making it easy for a 69 old
Color display is a high end color calibraded monitor used for photo and video editing.

Hi David / eva, It is definately faster experience, well done. One small thing I did notice on the find intervals page, on the new version the tick button for ‘add intevals’ is not showing. see screenshot

Cheers

Thanks for reporting, this is now fixed

The font on the buttons is very slightly smaller, it should be the same otherwise.

Could you please post before/after screenshots of the colour change. That is likely unintentional and maybe can be reversed. Tx.

Fixed. Tx.

The period icon doesn’t appear either

As others mentioned, UI is much faster. Very cool.

On the Compare screen I have a Pace vs. Hr chart - the labels for the pace are not working. Other charts with power, fitness, time do work, looks like its something with the pace field.

Thanks!

While the calendar and some other pages have become faster, the fitness page and the process of creating new charts are still significantly slower — almost unusable. The same issue occurs when creating or editing intervals within an activity.

Hi,

Like the subtle new look thanks;

I just noticed that although I have it ticked the ‘Show next week’ does not show (the next week) unless I toggle it off and back on - not a big deal!

Great you migrated to Typescript!

I wasn’t able to reproduce this using Chrome on a Mac. I tested using all of your charts and 4x CPU slowdown. Was a bit slow but v3 and current comparable. What browser and OS are you using?

I have reproduced that. Will fix, tx.

Yeah as you might imagine there is a lot more of that to do.

I’m using firefox on windows11

On the athlete page, the tags feel slightly off-scale. It’s not a big issue, but I just wanted to let you know.

While collecting doc i noticed that the colors in v3 looks better in some reports and in other reports the colors looks strange.

I took some screenshots and cropped them but it doesnt look good.

So here a my findings:

In activities: Options,Upload and Races has turned from Black to Gray’is

Selecting an activity , things look better in v3

In Fitness: Date range and Options has turned from Black to Gray’is

In Power: Date range , Season etc has turned from Black to Gray’is

and so on. It looks like all Pull Down menus are now Gray’is

Firefox , Windows 10 . Display setup: Scale and layout: 100% (Recommended) , Display Resolution 2560x1440 (Recommended)

Anyway , its probaly just me finding this annoying and I will probably get used to it.

We have made a number new of performance improvements, especially for people with loads of charts like you. Hopefully it is better now. But we were never able to see it slower than the current version even with all of your charts.

I see. I’m using it now and it’s working much better — maybe it was due to some issues on my side, like my internet connection or having too many pages open in the background. I usually open multiple races at once when analyzing different athletes, so that might have affected the performance. But now it’s definitely running much more smoothly.

Hi, new version is really faster. A small bug, notice the scrollbar:
V3:

OLD:

same resolution, same window size (not full screen), same activity on latest Chrome for Windows

With the new version I have some charts that have stopped working.

Found something similar for Plotly Scripts. For Annotations the background color was the same as the object color (in this case the line color):

After:

Compontents with Reminders are not shown correctly:
