Show me the way!
I do plan to look at merging at some point. It might be possible if both activities share a HR trace for example. Otherwise it is tricky because they might not have been started at the same time.
Assuming Zwift & Garmin are the source of all of my activities, could I make my activities viewable to my connections if I sourced from those instead of Strava? Is there a way to assign precedence to Zwift+Garmin, rather than Strava? In theory, I would only pull from Strava if for some reason the other 2 sources failed.
You have to find the ZWO files from zwift yourself tho. (I used to have the entire library which I found from a link in zwift forums)
after that, it’s just importing it into Intervals.icu’s workout library. (the little book icon) and you do the NEW and add folder and go from there.
Only thing is, if the ZWO file has loads of textevents per interval/lap, these will be condensed into 1 per interval.
Intervals.icu will replace Strava activities with matching ones from Zwift, Garmin, Suunto etc… That happens automatically so you don’t have to do anything. You can also import all data from Strava and all of those activities are visible to your followers because they didn’t come from the Strava API.
For people dual recording and keeping the Garmin/Wahoo etc. activity instead of the Zwift one, you can now use the planned workout steps for intervals. This solves the “missing laps” problem.
Great feature, but typical me, i dont see the intervals folder in my zwift workout page. Did connect as instructed… what am i doing wrong?
Yes please! In my case, both activities share power and heart rate.
Your workouts are heart rate based and Zwift doesn’t support that. So that were not uploaded.
Hi David, My TrainerRoad workouts are power based… to check, I’ve also put 2 heart rate training in the agenda. But at first I use the TR workouts…
Will deleted the HR workouts, for you.

Aha. Those TR workouts do not have structure so they won’t upload. TR doesn’t publish the workout structure to the calendar feed that Intervals.icu imports.
When exporting workouts from intervals in ZWO format they contain the show_avg="1"
element. But when uploaded via the connection-API it doesn’t seem to appear, can you add that as well?
Ahhh. Thats it… case closed thx for your help….
I would really like to have a way to chose the Zwift workouts this way - especially as this would keep all the text cues, which I lose when using the Zwift WO from my library. But then, this is something that Zwift has to solve on the API side. But maybe making them aware of the topic would help.
I think that XERT solves the topic by sending watt-values to Zwift. So they take the %FTP multiply it by the current FTP and thus have always the correct FTP set for the workout.
Both alternatives have their pros and cons. Maybe make it an option to either send %FTP or fixed watts.
Hello
First of all, thank you very much for the integration in Zwift. Great work! Since I’ve been selecting this directly through the sync, it no longer shows me the average at the top. Why is that? I’ve attached a picture of what it used to look like.
Does it depend on whether or not you’re in Erg Mode?
I do all workouts in Erg mode
A question for those already using Intervals-made workouts on Zwift: what do you use as the activity title? If it’s something like, say, ‘VO2 intervals,’ how do you know the scheduled date for that workout (on Zwift)? Does the date show up in Zwift?
I’d love it if the Intervals workout builder could automatically assign a title based on the planned date for sessions created with a blank title. It would make things much easier when I move workouts around on the calendar (a bit off-topic, but relevant to the Zwift issue)
Thanks!
