Initial setup to ensure accuracy?

I’m new to the site and was wondering what I need to configure up front to ensure that the data being displayed is accurate. Do I need to go into settings somewhere and enter any specific information such as resting heart rate, ftp, age, zones for cycling and or running?

I’d hate to find I’m using the fitness chart and it’s off because I didn’t do the initial setup correctly.

I’m sure I’ll be asking other questions as I get familiar with this tool.

You need to enter your FTP and setup HR zones and resting HR. You can do all of this in /settings.

The HR zones can be applied to all existing activities (little box on bottom left). You can set your FTP on existing activities in bulk from the list view on the calendar page.

So you can recover if you have any of these settings incorrectly set.
