Hi,
One of the biggest issues I have with my training is knowing if I’m targeting the right zone. This is easy enough on an indoor trainer, because I have a lot of control, but I live on an island which is full of short, steep hills. I’m also very heavy so I have to work hard when I hit those hills. As a result my HR says I’m mainly in Z3 and Z4 while my power zones are mainly Z1 and Z2.

Should I be paying the most attention to power or HR? Also, what would your advice be to someone with this profile?
