I’m using iOS and have never experienced the problem. That said, I’m not in a country where daylight savings is used. Would be interesting to see if this only affects daylight savings users.
Could you please mail me (david@intervals.icu) one of your files and I will see if I can do something with that timestamp_measurement column without breaking things for everyone.
Thanks for sending me the file. I have updated the import to use that column if it is available and treat it as a local date. Hopefully this doesn’t break things for anyone.
Awesome, works like a charm, thanks a bunch!
Tried the Dropbox HRV4Training import for the first time – results are off by a day.
Looking at My_Measurements_Android.csv file, the first 3 fields are “date” (YYYY-DD-MM, actual measurement date), “local” (YYYY-DD-MM, 1 day in the past) and “time” (HH:MM, actual measurement time).
This is frustrating! I’ll probably just abandon this for now and use manual CSV import with massaging of the data in Excel, because I also want to:
- Put the “lifestyle” HRV4Training field into the “Stress” Intervals field, and similarly–
- “mental_energy” → “Mood”,
- “rMSSD” → “HrvSnapshotRmssd” (so it doesn’t overwrite my nightly rMSSD coming from Garmin),
- “HR” → “RestingHRSnapshot” (so it doesn’t overwrite my RHR coming from Garmin).
Unfortunately, Intervals does not allow for this kind of custom field mapping (yet?).
Help with HRV4Training files.
The measurement I take in the morning is recorded in Intervals.icu with the previous date. The Dropbox file launches with this date, is this correct?
check if you’re in this bucket
Yes, that’s it!
I read all the posts but didn’t find the solution for Android. Do you know how to solve it?
unfortunately, i do not.
From the posts above. Seems like there are diff issues w diff people and diff phones (android only) and Marco doesn’t seem to have this resolved after few updates.
yeah can confirm, just did my first export to dropbox. everything is shifted one day to the left.
I took a reading this morning, but it’s blank on Intervals.
So, I’m having this same issue (Android) where all my data is shifted one day earlier. Is there anyway to fix this?
Thanks mates!
David, did Marco’s team AGAIN make a change to the app because I’m in the same situation. My HRV data pulled from DropBox is “shifted” one day to the left/prior.
Appreciate your help.
Shouldn’t you be asking to Marco’s team? Did you ever solve your situation since there’s multiple post from you above.
With some saying it works, and others not it’s a bit of a quandry.
From memory (from the thread above) the ones using their iOS app all works. Users on Android are the one who has issues.
Yeah. I’m actually trying various combinations of date settings in android system settings to see what that does to the “local date” field, if anything.
Sent email to Marco’s team too.
Isn’t it the iOS users that had this problem?
the thread above shows it’s dominated by android users.
The iOS version has always worked correctly for me. Post 26 was where there could be a solution, where it reads the local time (column B) instead of the UTC time.
