Ok, so for weight training, is there a recommended way to build a workout so that it syncs with my Garmin watch? I know for cycling workouts, I can use something like the following:
warmup
5m ramp Z2
4x
15s Z5
45s Z2
2x
1m Z4
1m Z2
main set
6x
30s Z5
30s Z3
30s Z5
30s Z3
30s Z5
30s Z3
30s Z5
30s Z3
30s Z5
2m 30s Z2
cooldown
5m ramp Z2-Z1
but is there a recommended way to do this for weight lifting? Example:
Exercise=Hack Squat Machine
3x15 @ 100lbs
Exercise=Leg Curl
5x8-10 @ 50lbs
Apologies if I missed this example somewhere else in the forum. Please feel free to link, if I missed this being answered somewhere else.
Would love to see this for use with Coros. Coros has âstrength workoutsâ. Iâve tried the Intervals.icu workouts planned training but unfortunately this doesnât synchronize yet to Coros.
Then after syncing Garmin Connect with Intervals data, on my watch I go to Activity Start > Strength and am prompted if I want to do âTodayâs Workoutâ.
These workouts are time-based, and the watch cycles through each step the same as it would for a cycling workout. I have also created workouts in Garmin Connect which require, e.g. pressing Lap button to proceed to the next step in workout, but I donât think Intervals supports that workout format.
