Garmin v Stryd Power

Recently subscribed to a Stryd foot pod and the power readings when compared to Garmin power readings are vastly different. I understand not to run with both power going however you are unable to disable the Garmin power on the watch so literally have to use the Stryd eco-system to report on their power numbers as any other platform (looks like intervals.icu included) run on Garmin power numbers. So my question is - which platform (Garmin v Stryd) is more accurate calculating run power or does it really no matter as each use their own algorithms so both are, in essence, accurate and you just use one or the other for training in power?

There is no agreed upon method for run power, and yeah, it probably doesn’t matter as long as you only use one.

However, the Norwegian triathletes use Stryd. Take that for what you will.
