Garmin connect widget

Is this still happening?

Seems to be working normally now!

Hi, just wanted to share an observation re Intervals.icu widget I use on my Garmin Forerunner 965. The widget seems to be causing the watch to get into boot loop where only unprompted reset helps to restore the watch’s functionality. I had this boot loop 3 times today already and it seems to appear when I install Intervals widget from Connect IQ store and then try to log in to my account. Watch firmware version 22.14. I’ll report if I find out similar behavior without the widget too.

The widget is not part of the Intervals project. It is a user developed IQ widget.
You better post your questions in this thread here to get in touch with the dev:

There’s a few issues of rebooting/triangle of death with beta 22.14 reported on the Garmin forum - 965 forum. May or may not be related.

I am getting data from someone else since the last update.

Left it in debug mode :man_facepalming:

New version incoming…

1.81 should work fine.

I really tot you meant ā€œsomeone_elseā€ the user w/ that username in this forum…

Thx, it shows my own stats again.

My training load seems to be incorrect. It shows 0 while it is 124.

I haven’t changed any logic, just added new devices to support. Is it the same today?

Load is correct again. It seems like it is resetting to 0 on sunday for the complete day. It started on sunday with 0 load even after 2 activities.

Hi, thanks for the awesome widget! I can now finally use it after upgrading to a Venu 3.

I noticed that in the layout of the Venu 3 the widget has a sharp edge on the left side, while all other widgets (including another CIQ widget) have the fading background. Is this intentional to keep the readability or would it be possible to include the fading background? My guess would be that maybe the background can be transparent and the watch itself will draw the fade behind it.

I haven’t put any code in specifically for the venu 3 other than simple adding it to supported devices, and then checking it works… so Garmin is applying that as a default. I will take a look next week if I can make it look like the others.

I have a Garmin Marq watch, which is basically an Epix2. I don’t find the Intervals-Glance app in the Connect IQ app. Is it because Marq isn’t listed as compatible?

I tried downloading from the app web page, signed into Garmin, and it told me I don’t have a compatible device. Can you please add Marq as compatible?

Which model specifically?
