Good Morning,
Can i ask when it comes to the Fitness graph is it based 0-100?(0= minimum untrained/100= Maximum-professional )
I am going for Total hip replacement next week so have only been able to walk a little and no bike in months and my fitness on Intervals, icu has declined TO 1 ,(Is intervals predominantly based on cycling/running etc ? Walking is not really a factor on the fitness?
Once i start training again on the bike does intervals start from 0 upwards again
I hope this makes sense
Great App
Thanks Ciaran from the Emerald Isle
The Fitness graph has no max value. It can be from 0 - infinity (theoretically)
What it comes down to:
- the fitness number is a weighted average of your load created over the last 6 weeks.
- a fitness number of 100 is more or less the result of doing an activity with a load of 100 each day for 6 weeks. Again, theoretically, because that would not be a good plan.
- a load of 100 represents ~2.5h at endurance intensity in the neighbourhood of 65% FTP. That would mean 15-20 hours of activity per week.
Fitness 100 is considered a big number for enthousiast amateurs, but pro’s go beyond that. Beginners should never try to get to that number in a hurry because it will wear them out. You need time to build to such a number in a sustainable way.
Sure it is. It is even one of the best ways to get in shape if starting from low fitness or after injury. But you need to check what Load metric is used for walking. It can be Pace or HR (and probably power on some more advanced watches).
