Exporting HR Training from Intervals.icu to HammerHead Karoo 2

When exporting a pulse-based workout from Intervals.icu in the .fit file format, the HammerHead dashboard does not support or load the workout correctly. This issue arises specifically with .fit files generated by Intervals.icu.

Additionally, if I use files with the .zwo extension, the workout does load but appears empty. This happens because the HammerHead dashboard interprets it as a power-based workout, whereas my workouts are created with heart rate zones.

Currently, to upload the workouts created in Intervals to my HammerHead Karoo, I first load the workout into the Vinapp Android application and then export it from there. However, this process is quite tedious and time-consuming.

I hope this explanation helps others who might be facing the same issue and encourages a more seamless integration between these platforms in the future.

Any update on this? It is frustrating …

Execute using the vinoapp?

Hammerhead’s platform is quite restrictive. If you do not have a Karoo product, you can’t even upload any (completed) workouts to it like Garmin Connect. So when you talk about seamless integration, i think the companies aren’t thinking that.

I can’t help you with fit file export, but can propose another way.
Hammerhead can sync workouts from TrainingPeaks. You can create free TrainingPeaks account (you can schedule workout for today and tomorrow), then sync workouts from Intervals to TraininingPeaks with this app Tp2intervals - Copy TrainingPeaks and TrainerRoad workouts\plans to Intervals.
In this case, you dont’ need to export any files, only run the app and click buttons.

Thanks For The suggestion!

Can you please mail me (david@intervals.icu) a workout fit file from Intervals.icu and the one fixed by Vinapp. Then I might be able to figure out what the problem is.

Do you plan to develop the planned workout sync to Hammerhead? Now Hammered is part of SRAM!

Yes and I have been in contact with them about that.
