I created a couple of cycling steps using distance and 2 different power zones
-10km Z3
-10km Z2
both default to 20 minutes so it seems it is using a default speed value, but I cannot find where to set it up for the Ride configuration. Also , is there a way to set up average speeds per power zones for cycling?

Look at your bikes (in gear, on settings page, just below power and HR settings).
Look to see what your moving/elapsed duration is and the distance covered for the default gear used for indoor/outdoor.
I donāt use distance in my workouts, so itās a guess.
Thanks for the tip but it seems that is not the reference used to get the cycling speed.
Did some searching in the forums and it seems it is hard coded to 30 km/hr as the reference speed with Davidās recommentation to not use distance for cycling.
Yes I couldnāt think of any other way to do it. Distance workouts were added for running mostly where you have pace to work with.

I am uptating the planned workouts guide and wanted to test the distance option for cycling. I figured out it is intended for running and swiming
Iāve been successfully using distance workouts for cycling, in particular to create power course for specific events or segments and found them very helpful.
Would be nice to be able to specify the average speed for each step so that the estimated load would be correct, but not a big deal.
