Custom streams with a Runn sensor

Hi, I use a treadmill for training for hilly ultra-marathons and it has a 40% incline but my Garmin watch does not account for the incline so the power is way off. I bought a Runn sensor Runn Sensor and now I can record the incline in the fit file, I made a custom stream with the power adjusted by the Runn incline but a few questions-

  1. can I use the custom stream for power?
  2. I made a rough calculation based on here - any better ideas?
  3. the sensor also records total_ascent could I record that in the climbing field automatically?
    Any help is appreciated.

do you use a stryd? or the Runn sensor also provides power?

Help? since your’s is a custom stream and not in the fit file

Ok thanks, the stream is formulated from the fit file power and Runn incline angle, may have to alter the fit file before uploading to icu.
It’s prety annoying when your slogging up a steep incline and It’s reporting 100w :rofl:

@Mike_on_a_Bike did you make a custom field or chart using the Runn data stream. I have a Runn and would like to look at the data, but I have not figured the data stream out yet. Please share :pray:

Did you figure this out ? Does anybody know if that’s possible / how to make intervals read the elevation + iq field from the fit file automatically in the climbing field ? (so that it adds to my climbing stats…)
