You need to change the start date.
ok just waiting for intervals to sync with Garmin
it looks like I have to drag the plan onto my calendar in intervals - discovered that rather on accident
so far I only see 2 days, there should be 4…
edit nvm you said they only upload a week at a time - the next 2 workouts would be next fri/sat
ok so I tested it - a couple notes -
the workout only showed up on my garmin if I had a workout to do today. I had set my program to begin next tuesday so I didn’t see anything. I went into my garmin calendar and changed the date on the first workout to today and voila!
hopped on the trainer, hit start and off I went. I wasn’t sure if the garmin head unit was using ERG or not - if it was it’s definitely not as smooth or responsive as zwift.
I’m curious how it came up with the power levels for the warm up - is that based on my FTP or eFTP? (edit : it’s FTP, I looked up the workout on intervals and backed into the FTP with the watts and %)
also shouldn’t live track be turned off by default for training rides? Kinda weird.
will need to test more but not doing any more tonight because I have a silly hard group bike ride tomorrow.
this is set by the “activity profile” (I hope I got the name right) you choose on your garmin. you can use an “indoors” profile and have it not do live tracking.
Garmin can control your trainer, like ERG mode, as well as set by grade, resistance and free mode.
This video explains the four modes.
this doesn’t really apply to me? I’m not choosing any of these options when I start a workout…?
I don’t think you can record a ride with no activity profile
That means “pair trainer” option is not enabled.
If you are referring to the last few posts, then it’s not an activity profile.
