Hi, I just got my Gravel bike back from the mechanic, with a new set of tires and a new chain, so I took that opportunity to add a ton of components.
Is it still the go to way to use “Equipment” as “group” and basically track everything in components?
And either set up a ton of “Bike” options with different components selected (so all combinations of HRM Straps and Shoes) or use tags or text in description, and use some python script that goes over those tags/descriptions and updates components that are just not linked to any equipment?
nested gear would still be nice, so components having other components - so I could add a “wheelset” that includes two wheels, two tubes, two tires, …
EDIT:
one more thought, when I have 4 AXS Batteries for 1x gears on two bikes (so one active battery per bike, and one spare each) but I don’t necessarily use them specifically on one bike only, I guess adding those four batteries (tracked by the serial number printed on them) as components, I’d add the right ones to each bike, and when they’re empty, I “replace” them, but then remove the component and add the other one (the empty battery goes to the saddle bag after charging, so that each battery has roughly the same amount of charging cycles) - or is there an easier way to achieve this?
