Are you eating well during your training sessions? Try this free IQ test- FUELTHEGOAL

I’ve had the honour of taking part in the testing of a Garmin app designed to provide nutritional guidance for cyclists. The app is called FuelTheGoal and has been developed by Chema Arguedas and the nutrition company FullGas. It uses algorithms based on calories burned, type of training, IF, etc. to tell you how many grams to eat and how much fluid to drink, all in real time, with notifications sent directly to your Garmin device.

The app is available in English, French and Spanish and is completely free. It can be configured directly on the Garmin device without needing a mobile phone. You can select the type of training you’re doing so the algorithm adjusts accordingly; it includes options for competitions, group rides, etc.

The app has been developed by @Inigo_Tolosa.

Awesome! Thanks.

Edit: I struggled to edit the hundreds place value (for FTP). It defaults to the tens place value.
1. Press enter until the Save button is selected - colour changes to green.
2. Then press up button, and the hundreds place value with change to 1. Set value using up/down).
3. Enter (right button) to move to tens place value (set value using up/down).
4. Enter (right button) to move to units place value (set value using up/down).
5. Enter, to save

There’s a new update, version 1.03. Try it and let me know what you think.

Thanks, I have a DM pending (setting hydration L/h) with some queries. I just need to add the screenshots.

Will check the update the next time I ride.

Ok Gerald. Thanks for your feedback
