This is fixed now, tx for the report. Calories were not loading from some Amazfit devices. You can do Actions → Reprocess File under the activity timeline chart or Edit → Reprocess file from the activity list view to fix existing activities.
Tested, works perfectly. Thanks
I’m a bit confused about some of my data. I go on a dog walk (and track it as “Dog Walk” on my T-Rex 3) multiple times per day, I also run a few times per week. I connected Strava and Amazfit to Intervals.
I now have some weeks where all walks are “runs” and some weeks were all walks are “walks”. I’d love to separate walks and runs to properly have a handle on my running volume. Does anyone know how that happens and what I can do about it? Does it have to do with it being “Dog Walk” instead of “Walk”?
Another question: Do you have any idea when it will be possible to push workouts to Zepp watches (such as T-Rex 3)? That would be a game-changer for me. Would already be fine it it’s a “training template” that I then have to select. I know there’s no “training calendar” outside of the Zepp Coach (which is bad).
The next time a walk is turned unto a run please leave it as a run and msg me a link so I can have a look.
Pushing workouts to Amazfit watches is in the testing phase. I don’t know when it will be released or exactly how it will work on the watch.
Will do. Have converted everything to walks already, but presume I’ll have another one in ~2 hours ![]()
Thanks for the update, really looking toward to it!
That are great news. I really hope amazfit also implements power alerts in there structured workouts. As of now there are only pace and heart rate alerts available…
David,
Do you think it’s possible to at least sync the macronutrients recorded by the Zepp app’s nutrition data (really well done) with intervals? So they can be automatically added.
Since they left out the body composition data (this is really sad, and I hope they reconsider), let’s at least hope for this nutrition data.
Hi,
I just bought the Helio Band, hopefully it arrives soon.
I wanted to ask if, once paired with Zepp, the Helio Band will also show the types of sports available in the Start Activity section. Unfortunately, the Zepp app only offers the following in the Start Activity section: running, cycling, walking, and treadmill.
Could you tell me if pairing the Helio Band increases the sports activities offered by Zepp, since I will be recording all my workouts through the Zepp app?
Thank you so much for your help.
It does, but not sure it’s because it’s paired with the Helio Strap or not. Those four activities you’ve mentioned are being shown by default, and if you click on “>” button near “Start Workout” title it will show you a full list.
Great!
Yes,
ù if I click the > button, in my case, only the activities performed and recorded with my Mi Band 6 appear, since it’s the only one currently paired. I think if you’re seeing other workout subcategories, it’s because you’ve paired the Helio. Could you send me a screenshot of the activity list that appears?
Thank you so much, you’ve cleared up a big doubt for me ![]()
As I expected, all the different activities shown are exactly those covered by the Zepp accessory, in this case the Helio Strap. If we look at the features description on the website, it lists the same ones:
Obviously, I don’t record my workouts with the Mi Band 6; I only use it for sleep monitoring, and I record all my gym workouts with a heart rate monitor and the Wahoo Fitness app. For cycling, I use the Cadence app.
I can’t wait to get the Helio, so I can use it exclusively for workouts and physiological monitoring, all with a single Zepp app. It’s a really good app.
Now let’s just hope we can sync weight and nutrition data from Zepp to Intervals.
That would be amazing!
I don’t know about nutrition but they removed weight from their API. Presumably they have decided to drop scales and concentrate on the other products.
Thanks, David,
Yes, I can imagine. What I hope is that they’ll allow you to connect scales from other brands and sync your body composition data to Zepp. That would be great.
I hope they take into consideration what I think is important.
They’ve added an important section to the Zepp app—nutrition—so why not allow you to connect other scales to track your body composition?
I hope they realize this.
Hi David,
This is the first time I’ve logged a water sport with my Balance 2 (Zepp), specifically paddleboarding. Although you can see in the screenshot that the activity lasts 52 minutes, the activity summary only shows 45 minutes. Why is this?
I’d also like to mention that I selected ‘Stand-Up Paddleboarding’ as the sport on my watch, and intervals.icu lists it as ‘Surfing’ when it should be ‘Stand-Up Paddleboarding’.
I have the activity history in Zepp (app) and Strava, and they show the correct duration of 52 minutes.
Summary: 2 issues:
- It doesn’t assign the activity type correctly.
- It doesn’t display the total time correctly; it goes from 52 minutes to 45 minutes.
Thanks for your time. Best regards.
I think the 45 minutes are the time spent moving, and the 52 minutes are the total time. You have a few short breaks in there.
It is what @Cooper says. Intervals displays ‘Moving time’ in the summary and ‘Elapsed time’ in the charts.
If you want to overrule that for a single activity, go to Actions - Settings and check the ‘Ignore Velocity data’ checkbox.
If you want to overrule for all future activities of this type, go to Settings page and set it there
‘Stand up paddling’ exists as an activity type in Intervals. The integer value that should be stored in your FIT file according to the list of activity types is 79 while surfing is 81.
Maybe check your file in fitfileviewer to see if that corresponds to the ‘sports’ and/or ‘subsport’ field.
I fixed the mapping for SUP. Future activities should import correctly.
