And I found at least one way to do it: making a custom Compare chart with date on the X axis and Max HR on the Y axis. Then I could see their max that they hit on four different occasions.
Maybe there are more efficient or elegant ways to get there, but it worked for now.
There are a couple of other ways to do that. On the fitness page add a “Max HR chart” and look at the chart:
On the activity list page click “Columns” and add the “Max HR” column then click the header to sort by that:

Does anyone have any advice on what to make of max heart rate on the chart and what that means for likely max heart rate?
My highest on here is 169 and yesterday doing a ramp test I reached 164.
I often go into the 150’s but rarely the 160’s. I have guessed my max as about 173 but any advice would be welcome for the best recommended setting.
Your max HR is what you have been able to achieve on rides assuming that some of those include flat out efforts or racing. Looking back at your last year you have several 173’s and 172’s. Also this one:

Your max HR here was 176 and clipped. So you should probably set your max HR to 176 unless you think there was a problem with the HR strap.
