Dear all,
I just realize, that there is one single thing, which makes intervals a little finnicky to use, and it is that I need to upload every Zwift Ride manually after I have finished it.
I know that, Garmin Connect doesn’t allow for third-party Activities, but would it be possible to get some API/Connection with Zwift? In the winter months I almost exclusively train on Zwift and it is already great, that I can mass-upload all files from the Zwift folder on my MacBook, but automatic would be amazing.

but there are workaround… search the forum for it…
I know there’s one way which is to do symlinks w/ dropbox
Okay, got it. I will use Dropbox just for this so space will not be an issue. Sync the Zwift-Folder on my MacBook and Symlink to Intervals. That’s fine.
I personally use Zwift - Strava - Intervals. Everything syncs perfectly (as long as you have a Strava account!)

Actually, that is the best idea. I deactivated Activity-Import from Garmin, only sync health data, sleep, Vo2Max, etc. and use Strava as a hub for everything else.
Q: Do I need to have Strava Premium to get all the details from the activities? Strava doesn’t show all HR-data and details without Premium, but I believe that everything gets carried over to Intervals anyway? Right?

Nope… not all
- privacy zones - this will cause issues w/ laps
- L/R pedal balance - it gets stripped out
- HRV - I think these also gets stripped out. not sure.
HR / Power and such are transferred no issue even on the NON-premium plan
Yea, that’s all I really need for Zwift. Once I’ll start outdoor activities again, I might switch back to Garmin Import and manual uploading from Zwift or Drobox. Thanks a lot!
What do you mean Garmin Connect doesn’t allow third-party activities? All of my Zwift activities automatically upload to Garmin Connect. I personally do Zwift → Garmin Connect → Strava → Intervals.icu
Yes, but Garmin Connect only relays data recorded on one of their devices. Zwift workouts are not sent to Intervals.
They refuse to function as a relay hub for data from other sources.

Sorry if I don’t understand, but why garmin can send zwift activities to Strava but not to intervals.icu?

are you sure that Garmin is doing that and not zwift has direct connection to Strava and pushes it there directly?
Zwift has direct upload to Strava hence it does that.

Activities done on a Garmin device, and also uploaded to Garmin (fit file), will be sent to Strava, but not when a 3rd party app syncs with Garmin Connect.

HRV is not stripped out when you use free version of Strava
