What am I missing on fitness calculation?

Hi All,

My understanding is that fitness is a 6 week daily avg load, but I cant seem to tie this with my past 6 weeks loads. My fitness is currently 48, and my last 6 complete weeks loads most recent to oldest were:

407

If I average these, it is 55, which is a fair amount more than the 48. What am I missing in my understanding?

Per the description, it’s a weighted average, so the more recent the data, the more it counts toward the average. Same with fatigue, but 7 days.

Do you know the formula by chance?

The only week I was below 350 (50/day) was 3 weeks ago, so I am surprised a weighted avg would bring the total down to 48
