Weight Lifted Field doesn't update when reprocess original file

This may not be a bug with Intervals but rather an API thing with Garmin.

Current condition: Garmin calculates total weight lifted during a “Strength Training” activity and calls it “Total Volume”. This value gets transferred to intervals.icu as the “Weight Lifted” filed.

Expected condition: When correcting Garmin’s “Total Volume” field and clicking the “reprocess original file” it’s expected that the “Total Volume” field gets retransferred to the “Weight Lifted” field in intervals.icu

Why would I correct the “Total Volume” field on the Garmin side? Because my 955 Garmin watch (All Garmin Watches?) resets the user inputed weight to 0 at each new set. So if I lift 60 pounds on the 1st of 4 sets, and input that into the watch, it resets to 0 pounds on sets 2 - 4. So I don’t have to constantly re-enter the weight on each set on my watch I just leave it blank. After the activity is downloaded to Garmin Connect I can then easily correct each weight on each set. Garmin Connect recalculates the new Total Volume, however that recalculated number is not carried over to intervals.icu

There may not be a way to grab this corrected number, but I thought I’d ask.

Thanks,

Steve

Intervals.icu only gets the original file from Garmin, not any edits you might make in Garmin Connect after that. When you do re-process file Intervals.icu re-processes the original file it received. It doesn’t fetch it from Garmin. Garmin doesn’t like historical data requests.

Gotcha. Thanks David. This is definitely not a bug report then. I’ll try to get Garmin to fix their own bug of resetting the weight every set. Not hopeful though.
