Weekly summary totals on top

You can now display the weekly summary totals on top of each week instead of on the side. This is how they are displayed on narrow displays. Triathletes and others who do several different sports might be able to see more weeks on the calendar with this option enabled.

Click “Options” on the toolbar:

Sometimes it seems you don’t need that many inputs to come up with solutions to problems we didn’t know we had. Better is not always found in customary patterns, but in the will to move on.

This seems profound, Kim, but I don;t know what it means!

Can we get an easy way to see the final Form value of the week? To see how we feel after sunday workouts, it might help to plan next week.

In intervals.icu Form is calculated in different way than TP right? (It makes more sense your way!!)

Thanks

I can add that to the weekly summary popup. Yes Intervals.icu does calculate form slightly differently to TP and others.

Intervals.icu: Form today = Fitness today - Fatigue today.
TP: Form today = Fitness yesterday - Fatigue yesterday.

I hadn’t seen the TP way of doing it when I first did these calculations and it seemed like the “right” way to do it. That said I might still change it at some point.

Your way makes more sense because, for me to plan or adapt a week i will need to see how i am going to end the week of training (TSS and Form ). In TP i have to click on Monday to see that, the value in Week Summary is how i ended / will end Saturday and not Sunday…as it should be.

Is there a way to get total hours for the week in:
a) the weekly summary popup;
b) on the top of each week;
c) both?

I just added that. Not quite sure why it wasn’t there.

Thanks @david !

Dunno where you stand on creating an option to show weekly cumulative “Moving Time” as an Activity/Calendar display option for weekly totals, but I find myself wanting to quickly see that info more than I want to see time in zones. Just my $0.02.

It is there. The top number is total moving time. Unless I have misunderstood?

Sorry, my bad. My pedantic brain was looking in the wrong spot.
Goodness how I love this platform!

Apologies for bumping an old topic, but this seems the right place.

What is the value of KCAL in the weekly total? How is this calculated?

Thank you!

It is the total of all the kcal values from the activities for the week:

The number of kilocalories burned during the activity. This is supplied by Strava which in turn uses the value supplied by its upload partners.

This is sometimes supplied by Strava and also sometimes in FIT files from Garmin etc…

Thank you David.

Can I also show the weekly KCAL consumed total?

You can do that on the /fitness page using a custom chart:
