Hi,
I’m developing a piece of free software that manages AI-generated training and nutrition plans and uploads the workouts to Intervals.icu via the API. I’m not sure yet whether I’m using the full potential of Intervals and its planning features.
When I upload workouts, I see the following view:
On the left (1), there is a summary of the training cycle showing various values. However, when I click on it, I get this view:
All fields are empty.
- Is this caused by missing data in the uploaded workouts?
- Are there specific fields or metadata that must be provided for this summary to be populated?
Additionally, I have a question regarding training plans.
There used to be an option (which I can’t find right now) to create a plan. At the moment (2), I don’t seem to have any plan defined:
Would it make sense to create a plan via the API first?
Currently, I upload workouts one by one and store the plan UUID in an extra field, so I can later delete all workouts belonging to a specific plan. From a data-management perspective this works well, but I’m wondering:
- Is there any functional or analytical benefit in Intervals.icu to explicitly creating and using a plan, rather than just grouping workouts logically?
Thanks in advance for any clarification.
Merry xmas to all
