Watt unit symbol

It should be displayed as a upper case ‘W’ as defined in the international system of units and not a lower case ‘w’.

Hmm you are correct. I didn’t know that after all this time. However I think I might stick with “w”. It is easier to read next to a number “300w” than the capital “300W”.

It is correct that it should be a capital W, but it never really bothered me. It’s also easier to spot the difference with W’…

Haha I am a little bit picky on this but when you are used to W it is striking.

And I also believe that the international units system states that there should be a space between the value and the unit.

So “300 W” for readability.

It would appear that Garmin uses both w and W.

I’m usually a bit picky on this kind of stuff too and I absolutely noticed it before. There’s not much point in creating standards if they’re not followed…
But for whatever unknown reason, this one didn’t bother me.
