Many (but not all) of my Zwift virtual bike rides are now showing blanks for distance and total ascent. This goes back pretty far to a point that I know many of these rides did have distance/ascent on the file originally, so at some point the info was lost/deleted.
How do your Zwift rides get to Intervals?
If you dual record with a Garmin bike computer for example, the Garmin activity will get prioritized over the one coming from Strava. and the Garmin file doesn’t have the GPS coordinates, elevation, distance…
Tell us what your Intervals account is linked to and there should be a logical explanation.
I believe my Strava and Garmin (watch) are both connected. This might make sense because I think the rides that are coming through empty are when it is one Zwift ride. If I have two separate Zwift rides but leave the Garmin on for one continuous activity, I don’t have this issue. Example: 15 min warmup + 45 min race from Strava, 60 min activity from Garmin.
Would the solution be to disconnect Garmin?
If you disconnect Garmin, you would loose, for outdoor rides, R/L balance and any Garmin dev field because Strava strips those out.
It might be better to delete the Garmin activity file for Zwift rides only, so that it shows the Strava data. That would be something manual though.
