WOW! Looks epic for coaches and coached athletes!
I’m not really familiar with the ‘coaching’ scene but I wonder who initiates collaborations with Intervals. Are you prodding them to check for interest or are they the demanding facility?

Yes it does look pretty cool!

Steve Neal sent an intro email connecting me to John Nichols from Velocity and it was obvious that this would be a good addition to the ecosystem. Velocity got the work done very quickly. I have been doing quite a bit of work to make integrations easier and 2-way sync seamless.

I have also been doing a lot of LinkedIn stalking, trying to get in contact with device manufacturers (Amazfit, Bryton etc.) to get Intervals.icu on their computers and watches. Not too much success so far. Also been contacting people with interesting apps badly impacted by the Strava API changes. The Intervals.icu API payloads are similar to the Strava API.

Can’t figure out how to join Velocity or download something…

You need to choose “Athlete / Coach” first then scroll down to “Create Free Account”.

I don’t want to diminish Velocity’s work, but it’s not “the only software solution that allows trainers to use live teaching”

icTrainer.com has been offering video chats for trainers since last year:

But we wish our colleagues every success at work and a relaxing christmas time :v:

I’ve tried ictrainer and it’s a great platform, but as a regular user, I’d like to have a cleaner interface and features that don’t need to be particularly complex, the barriers to entry are too high right now!

Yes. The website needs some work. The link david mentions works for me if I open it in another tab.

The site seems to be primarily a way of connecting athletes to paid coaching services. Am I right that two sessions per month are free?

I’ve signed up for Velocity but keep getting the message to “reconnect” my Intervals account. Clicking on “reconnect” takes me to the connection page, I go through the process but still get the “reconnect” message when I return to Velocity and no workouts sync.

Anyone have any thoughts about how to fix this?

Thank you!

I’m using the Velocity workout builder and have it integrated with Intervals.icu. When I look at the data in a CSV format I don’t currently see data in clean steps that have been designed into the workout. Does anyone know how to clean up the data or set it up so that I can see cleaner steps? Thanks in advance.

Do Actions → Analyse under the ride timeline chart and tick the “Use laps” button. I just did that on your Wed ride and it worked well.
