I sometimes change a few properties in Garmin connect as I want both platforms in sync. But most times, if not all, get a error message saying it timed out downloading data from Garmin Connect when I try reload from Connect.
Also the watch measures spO2 overnight but I don’t see it here when the wellness data gets uploaded.
I have noticed also that SpO2 is not downloading with regular syncs from GC. However, it does download when I do a full Garmin data dump using the Import All Garmin Data feature under Settings.
ETA: Not sure if relevant, but I also measure SpO2 during overnights only.
Thanks for that. I don’t see old data for spO2 though, but I have at first downloaded data from Strava. Anyway for me that is not a big thing.
I use RPE and feel on Connect and intervals but I now need to update on both because I can’t make intervals to redownload the activity from Garmin. That’s a bit annoying and seems to be a legit defect.
Garmin Connect doesn’t sent updates for RPE etc. to Intervals.icu only the original fit file. So if you captured those on your device before uploading to Garmin Connect they might be in the fit file, otherwise not.
Reloading from Garmin Connect is unreliable unfortunately. Garmin heavily limits calls to fetch old data.
Ahh, that’s it @david . I use a Fenix 6 Pro which records SpO2 but does not have the Health Snapshot feature so that may be why it doesn’t download on regular syncs. Interesting that it does download when I include SpO2 in the Wellness data using the Import All Garmin Data feature. Maybe something to look at.
