Training load calculation

Hi,

I have a very high training load on activities with HR. I’ve checked the intervals and seems fine, if I click reset inside activity then new training load is calculated correctly. Is there any way to recalculate (reset) bulk activities from the past?

Thanks,
Andrei

Do you have power based exercise files to compare it with?

data is way off, no comparison needed to see that.

Thanks,
A

Sorry, but as TL is based on your FTP, hence my question. If your power based bike exercises show a ‘normal’ TL, then something may be off. If TL on power based exercises is also (too) high, your FTP is set too low. At any rate, there also is no conclusive evidence that running power and biking power are equal (FTP wise)…

Thanks for your response. TL for power based activities is correct. Have a look at screenshot, load is 66/h and time is 46 min. The calculated TL is 432 instead of approx. 50. For me running power is different than cycling power and anyway, I don’t have any running power in Strava.

I have no HR only and/or running activities to compare - I think the 66.3 is probably fine, but I don’t know where the 432 comes from…

I fully agree with you. I am not concerned about TL per hour, the 432 is the one which is ruining the fitness graphs…

Well, I guess it’s up to @david then :sunglasses:

I received a similar report via email yesterday and will be looking into this tonight.

My code to find HR activities to update when changing the HR training load model was buggy. It was missing some activities. This is fixed now and yours should be good. If you see any more anomalies please let me know. Sorry about that.
