Tracking best time/distance or distance/time

This might be complicated. I’d like to see a system, like you have with power, that notifies you when you’ve done your best time for a certain distance (e.g, 5K) this season, but do it for all the standard running distances. The same for rowing but for the standard rowing distances. Rowing also has distance/time for a small number of standard times.

Running: 1K, 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 10 mile, half marathon, marathon, 50K, 50 mile, 100K, 100 mile
Rowing distance (distance): 100m, 500m, 1000m, 2000m, 5000m, 6000m, 10000m, 21097m (half-marathon), 42195m (marathon), 100000m
Rowing (time): 1 min, 4 min, 30 min, 60 min

* Rowing distances and times are taken from Concept2.

I have this on the todo list already. I am currently planning to a pace vs distance curve (like power duration curve) with “best efforts” like for the PDC but best time for distance. Hope that makes sense.

I had thought of suggesting that, but I didn’t know how hard it would be. I suppose you already do it for heart rate and power (the cumulative chart you use for heart rate might also work for pace; just a thought).

Hey ,just wanted to ask if something like this is possible , or still on the to do list ?

The pace-duration chart is definitely available, not sure about the distance-time.

I mean the distance/time , would be nice :slight_smile:
