Hmmm. I saw it today but don’t understand what the use case for this tick box is. Can you share that?
Probably, if you are actually registered for the race, you can tick that field.
One used case, if you are a coached athlete:
Often athletes add 15 different races as “possibilities” in their calendar, so that allows us to see the races they actually commited to.
Even for self-coached athletes, just knowing what is fixed in the plan vs what is an idea is useful, I think.
I don’t see much value personnaly I use A/B/C categorization for races and when I register that’s the administrative part. Of course I could have other ideas but if then I commit to another race then I will add then and flag them accordingly, which might or might not modify my load/plan. Typically C no change to plan (consider as training), B light taper A full taper.
Or perhaps I don’t understand this option and this is something in the cycling community? ![]()
I also use Google Calendar to track races and other personal appointments around the races (physio, medical checks, etc.).
Typically I look for races at the beginning of the year, and I add them as “reminder”.
But registration of these races starts later, and so you can track if you actually did registered or not.
I added a race to my calendar, trained for it and forgot to enter. Thats how the “Entered” flag got added ![]()
I enter at the latest possible moment, and would use the feature to ensure my athletes are actually entered, rather than just “planned”.
Would it be possible to add a filter for “entered” on the “Races” button on the Calendar page? Similar to the “Past” filter tick-box.
